Scotland will hope that home advantage works in their favour here against Nepal, but they won’t be at full-strength with a number of their players unavailable through county commitments, they most notable names being Sussex Sharks’ Brad Currie and Lancashire’s Michael Jones. Both would more than likely be starting this game otherwise.

Nepal though, are a spin-friendly side but it remains to be seen if the pitch in Dundee will take spin. It may well take the tourists time to adapt to the vastly different conditions in Scotland, compared perhaps to what they are used to playing in back home in the heat of Nepal. With that in mind, it’s still worth considering backing Scotland.
