THE LOWDOWN

WALES

  • Wales were downed by Ireland in a one-sided affair last time out as their winless start to the Six Nations continued.
  • The Welsh had no answers for their opponents in that game and in response to that loss, head coach Warren Gatland has made five changes to his side.

FRANCE

  • France were fortunate to avoid the ignominy of losing to Italy last time out but it was still a hugely disappointing result as they failed to beat the Italians on home soil.
  • The shares were spoiled as the French failed to fire and a big reaction will be expected here as they aim to keep their slim hopes of landing the title alive.

THE PREDICTION

All eyes will be on France as they aim to bounce back from their underwhelming performance against Italy. They could only draw in that contest and they will need to be much better here as they aim to get back on track. Wales are perhaps the perfect team to face as they bid to achieve that aim with the hosts coming into this having lost all three games to date and they look set to lose once again here.

TIP: FRANCE -10
