- Salford Red Devils were unable to make it three straight wins as they fell to defeat against Hull KR last week, let down by a lack of discipline and some poor defensive efforts as they shipped 43 points.

Salford Red Devils failed in their efforts to record a third successive victory as they fell to a heavy loss against Hull KR last week. The Red Devils will be eager to bounce back here but they will need to show plenty of improvement having struggled on both sides of the ball in that defeat. Some of their defensive efforts were particularly alarming and Challenge Cup winners Wigan Warriors will feel they can exploit their opponents. The Warriors showed their quality to overturn a 12-point deficit against Castleford Tigers last week to run out convincing winners and Wigan should be able to make it three straight successes in all competitions, covering the -7.5 handicap in the process.
