- Parramatta ended the season with the best home record in the competition thanks to a win over Manly to take them into the finals on a high and they will be confident as they host Brisbane in this elimination final.
- The Eels will be without prop Kane Evans after he was banned for a high tackle last week but Nathan Brown returns from his suspension and will lock down the pack with Daniel Alvaro moving up to the front row.
- There are no other changes to the Parramatta side with head coach Brad Arthur sticking with the players that have served him well for the majority of the season which means and that means to place for the likes of Will Smith and Peni Terepo.

- Brisbane put in an awful performance against Canterbury last week and will need to greatly improve if they are to avoid going one and out in the NRL finals as they head to Parramatta in what will be a difficult task for the Broncos.
- The Broncos will have Joe Ofahengaue back this week to boost their pack which is where Brisbane need to dominate the game if they are to be successful with the Queensland forward returning at lock.
- Patrick Carrigan will drop back to the bench with Rhys Kennedy dropping out whilst there is a further chances among the interchanges with Gehamat Shibasaki returning at the expense of Izaia Perese.
THE PREDICTION
Parramatta were edged out by Brisbane in their last meeting in Round 24 but will be confident of reversing that result as the hosts. The Eels have been brilliant at home this season and with the Broncos struggling for consistency, Parramatta can be the side to advance to the semi-finals. If Brisbane are to pose problems, their young pack will have to get on top but there are too many question marks surrounding which side will turn up for the Broncos with the Eels boasting the greater consistency.
