- Canterbury were soundly beaten by Brisbane last week as their recent upturn in form was halted thanks to a poor display and now they face the daunting task of facing Sydney Roosters.
- Marcelo Montoya suffered an MCL injury during the Bulldogs' loss to Brisbane and will be missing for at least three weeks with his place in the centres taken by Kerrod Holland whilst rookie Brandon Wakeham makes way for Lachlan Lewis.
- Aiden Tolman is fit again and he comes back into the starting side for Ofahiki Ogden who drops to the reserves while Kieran Foran has again missed out but should be back for next weekend’s game.

- Sydney Roosters returned to winning ways with a convincing win over Newcastle and they will be keen to back that up here as they face struggling Canterbury with the Roosters attempting to solidify their spot in the top 4.
- Roosters hooker Jake Friend suffered a forearm injury that will sideline him for a sustained period just a week after returning to the side which means that Victor Radley shifts back to the hooking role.
- Zane Tetevano is back from suspension so comes onto the bench whilst Sam Verrills is also named as he provides support for Radley and Ryan Hall is out of the side with Brett Morris replacing him after appearing from the bench last week.
THE PREDICTION
Sydney Roosters showed some great signs in their win over Newcastle last week as they got back to winning ways in style. They have struggled for consistency of late but will be eager to put in another display against the lowly Bulldogs and they should be able to win comfortably. They will once again have to deal with the loss of Jake Friend but Victor Radley filled in well earlier in the season and he can do so again with the Roosters likely to have too much for their opponents.
