For Puerto Rico, it was a lack of offence that ultimately left them found wanting in the group stage. For Turkiye, it was poor defence as both Australia and Belgium put up more than 85 points against them. This gives Puerto Rico optimism that they can greatly exceed their scores of 54 and 64 points so far in this tournament.
However, Turkiye should find it easier to defend against a nation significantly weaker than both the Aussies and Belgians. They accumulated over 70 points in each game and if they can do that again here, then the likelihood is that Turkiye will get the better of this Puerto Rican team.
