Both France and Germany have been excellent offensively over the course of this tournament. France piled up 305 points on their way to a perfect record in the group stage, before overwhelming China from an attacking point of view in the last eight, winning 61-90. Germany meanwhile, are on a run of four straight wins and are saving arguably their best basketball for the knockout stage, racking up consecutive over 90-point games.
For the Germans, it’ll be about containing what is an outstanding French attack which has been firing on all cylinders. France are strong across the court and Germany will struggle to match them across four quarters. We should see a high-scoring game, but in the end France are worth backing to overwhelm German and pick up the victory.
