Coached by Carles Cuadrat, the Philippines come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Tajikistan in their most recent outing in AFC Asian Cup qualification, meaning that they have now suffered just one defeat in their last 12 matches.
They now face a Guam side that are currently ranked 201st in the world with Ross Awa’s side one of the weakest sides in international football. They most recently did manage to hammer American Samoa by six goals to nil in the FIFA Series Puerto Rico in March.
That hammering of fellow minnows came a few days after losing to Puerto Rico 4-0 and the Philippines will be expected to come out on top here in South East Asia.
