Oxford vs Brighton prediction

Gary Rowett and his Oxford United side will have full and primary focus on simply avoiding the drop in the Championship this season. The U’s come into this one on the back of a 1-0 loss to Birmingham City at St Andrew’s, making it three defeats from three in the second-tier so far.

Brighton and Hove Albion began the campaign with a 1-1 draw against Fulham in a game in which they conceded a Rodrigo Muniz equaliser deep into second-half stoppage-time. The Seagulls backed that up by stumbling to a 2-0 loss to Everton in the first competitive game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Brighton have built a deep and impressive squad so, even with the expectations of a heavily rotated side, a comfortable away win is to be expected at the Kassam.

Oxford vs Brighton tip: Brighton to win -1 handicap
