Oviedo vs Alaves prediction
After an emotional and long-awaited return to the top-flight last year, it was always expected to be difficult for Oviedo and that has proven to be the case. They have shown fight in this calendar year but the jump in quality from the second-tier playoffs has shown for the hosts.
They face an Alaves side that have been much-improved since the appointment of former Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores. However, the Basque outfit do remain just one point outside of the bottom three and the relegation places in La Liga.
Oviedo will want to go out with a bang at the Tartiere and Alaves, who defeated Barcelona in midweek, will themselves fancy themselves to get another pivotal victory here.
