Slovenia vs Scotland prediction
Slovenia come into this one on the back of a difficult year or so. They were beaten 2-1 by Croatia in June and that means that they have won just one of their last ten matches since victories against Luxembourg and Bosnia-Herzegovina last year.
Scotland endured another woeful major tournament campaign in which they exited at the group stages and, despite good work done by Steve Clarke on the whole, he has now been replaced by former Monaco boss Sebastien Pocognoli.
Scotland are expected to evolve their style of football but teething issues may be there and Slovenia are often defensively solid if not too proactive themselves so a low-scoring contest seems likely.
