Both these two nations were ultimately outclassed in their respective semi-finals. Whilst Italy were beaten 0-2 by Spain, Colombia lost by three goals to nil at the hands of Korea DPR. Although neither side got on the scoresheet in the last four, that isn’t expected to be the case here. Not playing in the final takes a lot of pressure off both and that should be reflected on how they play on the field.
The two teams are likely to each be given the freedom to attack in large numbers, even if it leaves them exposed at the other end of the pitch. So often these games wind up being high scoring affairs, who can forget England’s 6-4 win over France at the 2026 FIFA World Cup this past summer. Whilst this particular match shouldn’t prove as high scoring, expect a healthy number of goals nonetheless.
