Latvia vs Cyprus prediction
Latvia, who defeated Gibraltar in a two-legged play-off to avoid relegation back in March, succumbed to a 2-0 loss to Armenia in Yerevan on Friday due to goals scored by Georgiy Harutyunyan and Artur Gharibyan.
Cyprus took a second half lead in Podgorica against Montenegro, via Burnley attacker Marcus Edwards following his switch of international allegiance, before goals from Nikola Krstovic and Milutin Osmajic turned the game on its head for the Montenegrins.
Latvia’s only victories in their last 20 matches have come against Gibraltar and Andorra. Cyprus themselves did show some improvement over the summer and even against Montenegro after their regression in recent years. It may well be a decent value bet to side with the Cypriots here.
