Novak Djokovic vs Cameron Norrie prediction
Novak Djokovic overcame a slow start as she beat Zachary Svadja in four sets. Djokovic lost the first set and went 3-1 down in the third but he won 11 of the last 12 service games to win 6-7 6-3 6-3 6-1 after two hours and 31 minutes. Svadja impressed, with a first serve percentage of 71%, but the 38-year-old still created 15 break point opportunities as he safely booked his place into round three.
Cameron Norrie will be his opponent after he beat Francisco Comesana in the second-round. The former British number one was made to fight for his win, as Comesana won the third set, broke when Norrie was serving for the match in set four and earned three set points of his own to take the match into a decider. Nevertheless, the former Indian Wells champion saved them all and edged in front in the tiebreak to win 7-6 6-3 6-7 7-6.
Djokovic completely dominates the rivalry, leading 6-0 but this is their first match on an outdoor hard court. They’ve already played against each other twice this season, with Djokovic winning in Geneva and Paris without the drop of a set. Norrie is a gritty competitor and could frustrate Djokovic, but he lacks the weapons to hurt the 24-time Grand Slam champion.
Novak Djokovic vs Cameron Norrie tip: Novak Djokovic to win 3-0
