ARIZONA CARDINALS
- Arizona finally ended their wait for a win as they picked up their first victory in seven matches by beating Cleveland last week but the Cardinals face a difficult task if they are to make it back-to-back victories.
- The Cardinals will take a lot of confidence from last week’s win having scored five touchdowns against the Browns with running back Kenyan Drake contributing four of those six-pointers in a spectacular display.
- One man who will not feature for the Cardinals in their final two matches of the season is linebacker Terrell Suggs after they surprisingly released the veteran ahead of last week’s contest.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
- Seattle returned to winning ways after their loss against Los Angeles Rams as the Seahawks proved too good for Carolina in what was a relatively comfortable win despite the scoreline looking close at the end of the game.
- The Seahawks opened up a 20-point lead with under 10 minutes remaining and will not be too concerned by the Panthers managing to close the gap to just six points by the end of the game thanks to two garbage time scores.
- Defensive injuries were the main talking point before last week’s game and the Seahawks will be hoping to get some of those players back on the pitch this week after they had to play without several stars including defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
THE PREDICTION
Arizona ended their losing streak last week but face a much tougher
task as they head to Seattle to face the Seahawks. The Cardinals were
thankful to the performance of running back Kenyan Drake as he ran in
four touchdowns but with the Seahawks hopeful of getting some key
defensive men back in their team this week, he will not have things his
own way this week. The Seahawks have lost just one of their last seven
matches and they should claim another victory here.
