New Zealand were victorious in the opening ODI by seven runs, their fourth consecutive white ball victory over West Indies.

Date/time:

Venue: McLean Park, Napier, New Zealand

Weather: Heavy rain likely across the scheduled hours of play

How to watch: UK – TNT Sports / USA – Willow TV

New Zealand vs West Indies prediction

New Zealand are in a strong position after winning the all-important first ODI, particularly when taking into account the awful weather forecast ahead of this second ODI in Napier. Daryl Mitchell’s 119 was critical to their success whilst Kyle Jamieson picked up a crucial three wickets as the Black Caps successfully defended 269.

With the scheduled forecast being so gloomy, focus specifically on Jamieson rather than an actual match result. He should be a menace in grey, miserable conditions if the players get out onto the pitch and backing him to pick up another 2+ wickets warrants consideration.

New Zealand vs West Indies tip: Kyle Jamieson to take 2 wickets
