Nazim Sadykhov vs Nikolas Motta prediction

Nazim Sadykhov (10-1-1) has the pleasure of fighting in front of a raucous home crowd as the Baku native returns to action on Saturday night. He last fought in the middle of February in Vegas where he TKO’d Ismael Bonfim.

That was his first fight in some 15 months and that win will give him a boost in confidence as he shakes off any potential rust. That took his tally to 11 fights unbeaten with ten wins and a draw and was his seventh win via KO/TKO.

He meets Brazilian Nikolas Motta (15-5 with one no contest) who comes into this bout with good confidence after winning his last two. He picked up a first-round TKO over Tom Nolan and then a unanimous decision over Maheshate Hayisaer to cap a strong 2024.

Motta has had a mixed time of it in the UFC going 3-2 with one no contest and those two losses were both KO/TKOs. That fragility does not bode well against the power of Sadykhov and we back the home fighter to get the win with a stoppage.

Prediction: Nazim Sadykhov to win by KO/TKO
