Jamahal Hill (12-3 with one no contest) has lost his last two fights in the UFC albeit to elite fighters in Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka and he needs a win to stay within the upper echelon of fighters in the division.
A lot will depend on what mindset Hill comes into the Octagon with after two successive loses by KO/TKO especially with his last one coming in January this year.
He takes on Khalil Rountree Jr (14-6 with one no contest) is coming off a defeat to Alex Pereira for the light heavyweight title last time out so it will be interesting to see how he responds on his return. He has won five fights in succession prior to that and had some real momentum so it will very much depend on how much hunger he has after the failed title bid.
There are so many unknowns around this fight and that is largely due to their difficult recent losses. We have a marginal preference for Rountree Jr due to the fact that he has had time out to reset and has had to handle greater adversity in the past. We marginally favour him to get the win.
