Ko Seok-hyun vs Oban Elliott prediction
Ko Seok-hyun (11-2) makes his UFC debut looking to extend his four-fight winning streak. The Korean fighter earned his shot through Dana White’s Contender Series with a win in September over Igor Cavalcanti and now steps up to the big time as he makes his debut in Baku.
He has been handed a tough welcome in the form of Oban Elliott (12-2). The 27-year-old Welshman also came through the Contender Series but has adapted nicely to life in the UFC having won all three bouts in the promotion so far. Those wins take his winning streak to eight in a row and he will be confident of extending it to nine here.
Elliott’s CV certainly edges Seokhyun’s coming into this one. The Korean arguably has the edge in knockout power but Elliott is excellent technically and we expect him to control this fight and inflict a debut defeat on the Seokhyun.
