Melissa Mullins vs Daria Zheleznyakova prediction

Melissa Mullins (7-1) is coming off a TKO win over Klaudia Sygula last time out and that combined with the fact she has already beaten Daria Zheleznyakova, she will be confident ahead of this one. That victory over Zheleznyakova came back in November 2022 before either fighter joined the UFC and it will be interesting to see how either have evolved since then.

Her only loss came against Nora Cornolle in April 2024 where she lost by TKO but winning last time out by the same method was a fitting way to bounce back.

She now rematches with Daria Zheleznyakova (9-2) who is coming off just the second defeat of her professional MMA career against Ailin Perez. She was submitted in the first round which was her first loss since Mullins TKO’d her back in 2022.

Zheleznyakova has arguably improved since that loss but it is fair to say that Mullins has also and potentially kicked on even more so. We struggle to see a different outcome here and expect Mullins to get the win once again.
