Monaco Preview: Foot on the Monegasque

Under the management of former Borussia Monchengladbach boss Adi Hutter, Monaco come into this one on the back of an impressive 3-0 hammering of Olympique de Marseille at Stade Louis II last weekend as they look to secure UEFA Champions League qualification once again.

The Monegasque scored in the 34th minute via Japan international attacking midfielder Takumi Minamino before second-half strikes from Switzerland international duo Breel Embolo and Denis Zakaria, with the latter coming from the penalty spot.

Strasbourg Preview: Silky Strasbourg

Strasbourg have been excellent since the turn of the year with the coaching of former Derby County and Hull City boss Liam Rosenior. The Alsace-based outfit begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just a couple of points and places outside of the top three.

They were denied yet another victory at Stade de la Meinau last weekend as they shared a 2-2 draw with Nice last weekend after coming from behind to lead by two goals to one in the second-half before Youssouf Ndayishimiye equalising in second-half stoppage-time.

Monaco Team News: A few doubts

Ahead of the visit of Strasbourg to the principality of Monaco this weekend, the hosts are dealing with some key injury doubts such as Jordan Teze, Kassoum Ouattara, Soungoutou Magassa and Mika Biereth.

Predicted XI (4-4-2): Kohn; Vanderson, Singo, Kehrer, Caio Henrique; Akliouche, Zakaria, Camara, Minamino; Biereth, Embolo

Strasbourg Team News: Nothing fresh

Strasbourg have no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues ahead of the visit to Stade Louis II this weekend so that means Liam Rosenior will be able to name an unchanged eleven for this one.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Petrovic; Doue, Omobamidele, Doukoure; Diarra, Santos, Lemarechal, Barco; Bakwa, Amo-Ameyaw; Emegha

Unavailable: Moise Sahi (Injured)

Questionable: Bellaarouch (Injured)

Monaco vs Strasbourg Prediction

Monaco have scored 57 goals in their 29 matches so far this season with only the already champions Paris Saint-Germain having scored more than them. They have an abundance of attacking quality and they now face a Strasbourg side that play their own entertaining style of football and they have been brilliant in the last few months with a fun match for the neutral to be expected for this one in the principality.

Monaco vs Strasbourg Tip: Both teams to score
