NAZIM SADYKHOV VS VIACHESLAV BORSHCHEV LOWDOWN
Nazim Sadykhov (9-1) appears for the third time this year after making quite the UFC entrance. He was riding a seven-fight win streak when he knocked out Evan Elder (2023) on his debut. He then met Terrance McKinney back in July and pulled off the upset with a second-round submission extending his streak to nine.
Now, he takes on Viacheslav Borshchev (7-3) who is coming off a much-needed performance. He was coming off two humbling unanimous decision losses to Marc Diakiese and Mike Davis last year. He was then paired with Maheshate Hayisaer back in May and pulled off a vintage second-round knockout.

This is likely to be a ‘Fight of the Night’ contender. Sadykhov has a lot to live up to after his last performance, but the fight with McKinney was not going completely his own way until the finish.
He is still extremely dangerous with heavy hands. However, if he has any sense, he will call upon his grappling as it is a clear weakness of Borshchev. He is a top tier kickboxer with an array of techniques from all ranges.
Sadykhov is the favourite, but if he cannot land the takedown, Borshchev will light him up. His takedown defence continues to improve and we feel he will keep the fight on the feet long enough to land enough damage to earn a decision at least.
We can also see Sadykhov having the confidence to stand and trade so Borshchev is the play.
