OVINCE SAINT PREUX VS KENNEDY NZECHUKWU LOWDOWN

Ovine Saint Preux (26-17) emerges for his annual UFC appearance. After getting knocked out by Jamahal Hill (2020) and Tanner Boser (2021) it looked like his long UFC career was coming to an end. However, he extended his shelf life with a split decision against Shogun Rua (2022) at UFC 274. He returned a year ago against Philipe Lins only to get knocked out in the first round denting his UFC record to 14-12.

Kennedy Nzechukwu (24-8) welcomes him back to the cage and he is also coming off a first-round knockout loss. Dustin Jacoby (2023) inflicted the second knockout of his career and halted some serious momentum. Nzechukwu was coming off three finishes in a row knocking out Karl Roberson (2022) and Ion Cutelaba (2022) before submitting Devin Clark (2023) and is now desperate to regain that form.

OVINCE SAINT PREUX VS KENNEDY NZECHUKWU PREDICTION

Saint Preux is tough to predict as he rarely fights to his strengths. He is strong as an ox with heavy hands and powerful grappling, but rarely has a game plan.

He will be wise avoid the hands of Nzechukwu, close the distance and tie him up. He can control him against the fence and if he can land in top position, he has the jiu-jitsu to find a submission.

However, we expect OSP to stand and exchange leather before getting clipped and put away. Nzechukwu is the pick, but considering OSP’s power and the odds, he is worth a small punt.

Prediction: Nzechukwu via KO/TKO

Value bet: Ovince Saint Preux via KO/TKO or Submission
