After earning himself a contract to fight under the UFC lights following a submission win against Nasrudin Nasrudinov in the Contender Series, Jailton Almeida (14-2) has the chance to impress this weekend. The Brazilian has not lost a fight since 2018 and it’s fair to say that he is on cloud nine right now.
As for Danilo Marques (11-3), the Brazilian is coming off of a loss to Kennedy Nzechukwu. Currently 4-1 in his last five professional outings, Marques will not want yet another defeat next to his name. Therefore, this weekend, the Brazilian veteran will be stepping his game up to try and avoid yet another loss.

Going into this weekend’s bout, Marques will have a significant height advantage, but it’s Almedia who has the edge in terms of the reach.
