Middlesex will no doubt hope that the presence of Kane Williamson, such an incredible player and leader for such a long period of time will help turn around the fortunes of a county who are consistently finishing at the bottom end of the South Group. Williamson will have support with the bat from Stephen Eskinazi, who will desperately be hoping for a good tournament individually.

Despite Surrey missing right-arm pacer Jofra Archer through injury, the Sharks are expected to be strong again this season after a promising 2024 campaign that saw them get to Finals Day.
