Mexico vs Great Britain prediction

For the second time in as many WBCs. Mexico and Great Britain are set to do battle, with the former narrowly triumphing 2-1 in 2023 pool play. Javier Assad or Taijuan Walker could start this match, whilst the bullpen should do a good job of locking things down when required.

It can be easy to forget about Mexico when considering the superstar names on other teams, but be rest assured, this is a really good team, although they’ll need to be at their best to get out of a pool which includes tournament favourites USA and the sleeper squad of Italy. Great Britain defeated the Milwaukee Brewers and drew with the San Diego Padres ahead of this game, but if Mexico are on their game from the start, they should have too much for Team GB.
