Juventus vs Rennes prediction

The Europa League continues to provide much needed respite for Juventus as their domestic season hit a new low this past weekend after a 0-3 loss at home by Lazio, leaving them eighth-place in the Serie A table. In Europe, however, it's been a different story. A 5-0 thrashing of NEC was backed up by a hard-fought 2-1 win away to Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo. They now look to make it nine points from nine in the league phase with victory against French club Rennes.

Franck Haise’s side came out the wrong end of a 4-3 thriller away at Paris FC on Sunday, a Lassine Sinayoko penalty in 97th minute subjecting them to defeat. It was particularly tough to take for Esteban Lepaul, who scored all three of Rennes’ goals, each of them coming from the penalty spot. But Juventus boasts a squad of substantially higher quality and are combining solid defence with a potent attack when it comes to the Europa League. Backing them to get the better of Rennes is worthwhile.
