Japan vs Iceland prediction

Under the management of Hajime Moriyasu, Japan have quite a strong side even without the injured Kaoru Mitoma and Takumi Minamino. Samurai Blue most recently defeated both Scotland and then England in the March international break.

They now face an Iceland side that went through a dip over the last decade or so but they have been much-improved again of late with some exciting younger players coming through as they head into the next international cycle.

Iceland have been very exciting and entertaining to watch and so, while Japan remain favourites for this one, it may be a decent watch for the neutral.

Japan vs Iceland tip: Japan to win & both teams to score
