With USA occupying the same group as these two nations, this already feels like a must-win game for both if they want to advance through to the next round. Czechia were 2010 Women’s Basketball World Cup runners-up, but have since fallen on hard times and currently sit 17th in the world rankings. Italy meanwhile, are above them in 14th but have never gotten beyond fourth-place in this tournament.
Right now, as we look at the rosters of these two European nations, Italy appears to be a stronger group. The question is whether they have the mental toughness to clutch up under pressure.
