Italy vs Belarus Prediction

Italy showcased a trademark Italian defence in Belarus and combined that with some much-needed cutting edge in the second-half to get the better of the hosts by two goals to nil. Roma striker Martina Piemonte opened the scoring before Elisa Polli of Inter Milan added a priceless second goal in stoppage time to give the Azzurri a valuable cushion.

Provided Italy defend the way they did in the first-leg, this should prove to be a formality. Belarus doesn’t have the individual talent to sustain large periods of pressure and Italy won’t be bullied on set-piece. Back the hosts to control much of the second-leg and ultimately win again with another clean sheet.

Italy vs Belarus Tip: Italy to win to nil
