Ireland vs Zimbabwe prediction

Zimbabwe have been the story of the T20 World Cup so far, following their incredible win over cricketing giants Australia, surely the most famous victory in Zimbabwe’s white ball cricketing history, certainly when it comes to T20 cricket. Blessing Muzarabani was brilliant again, the seam bowler taking four wickets for the loss of just 17 in a 23-run win. Muzarabani has now picked up seven wickets over the course of Zimbabwe’s last two games.

Ireland meanwhile, have been beaten by both Sri Lanka and Australia respectively, but did get the better of Oman last time out in a must-win game, racking up 235/5 batting first and bowling out Oman for just 139. But the Irish side will be without batter Paul Stirling for the rest of the tournament through injury and he will be a big loss, with Sam Topping drafted in as a replacement.

Whilst we saw the real Ireland stand up against Oman, Zimbabwe have been outstanding across the competition and all the momentum is with them after that Australian triumph. With Muzarabani in the form of his life, back the Chevrons to pull off another notable victory.
