India vs Netherlands prediction

India are showing why they are tipped by so many to go back-to-back in this tournament and their thrashing of Pakistan was the best performance we’ve seen from them so far. Batting first, Suryamkumar Yadav’s side accumulated 175/7 before a superb bowling performance saw them skittle Pakistan for only 114 with six separate bowlers picking up at least one wicket.

It would be no surprise if India opted to rest a few players here with their place in the next round secured but isn’t likely to weaken them significantly, such is the depth of this Indian squad. Netherlands must win this game and whilst they have disappointed at times with the bat, they are capable of putting up a big score. 

Combine that with the firepower India contain, along with a likely flat batting pitch in Ahmedabad and the shrewd value move may well be to back at least 350 runs to be scored over the course of this Group A encounter.
