Goa vs Bengaluru Prediction

With two goals to make up on their opponents here, Goa will need to be at their very best from an attacking point of view to stand any chance of turning this Indian Super League semi-final on its head. Bengaluru made full use of home advantage in the first-leg to beat Goa by two goals to nil, an own goal starting things off before Edgar Mendez doubled the lead.

Goa have nothing to lose when taking into account the deficit and so expect them to really push multiple bodies up the pitch whenever possible, pinning back Bengaluru and giving themselves the best opportunity of creating multiple chances. But Bengaluru know that scoring a second-leg goal would be massive, so don’t expect them not to try and attack whenever they can.

Whilst it’s hard to see Bengaluru holding out on the road as Goa grow more desperate, the visitors are likely to have chances to catch out the latter. With that in mind, consider backing both teams to find the net.
