Following his club-record move to Liverpool last summer for £125 million, Alexander Isak struggled throughout The Reds’ disappointing defence of their title, as they finished fifth. Isak arrived unfit, got fit and scored in the EFL Cup, fell behind Hugo Ekitike in the pecking order and spent the majority of the campaign dealing with injuries. Seemingly now approaching his best again, with an excellent strike against Norway in a pre-tournament friendly, Isak will be crucial for Graham Potter’s Swedes, playing alongside Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres.
