Whilst France are already safely into the next round, they will no doubt want to finish with a flourish as they get set for knockout basketball. Momentum is always very important and a third straight win for the French is something head coach Jean-Aime Toupane will be demanding of his side, especially after accruing 99 and 95 points respectively across their last two group fixtures.
Nigeria are a vastly inferior side and should be outmatched across all departments. It wouldn’t be a surprise if France did suffer a dip in terms of intensity but when you consider their strength-in-depth and overall quality, that shouldn’t prevent them from winning this match by a substantial margin of at least 25 points.
