THE PREDICTION
The WSL’s top two lock horns at Kingsmeadow with Chelsea knowing that a victory over Arsenal here would see them leapfrog the Gunners into top spot. Both teams have a win over each other already this season, Arsenal beating Chelsea on the opening weekend of the WSL season, whilst the Blues gained revenge in the rescheduled Women’s FA Cup final last December. Emma Hayes’ side come into this one in better form having won each of their last four in all competitions, whilst Arsenal have failed to win either of their last three on the road. Chelsea are in a prime position to capitalise on such frailties when taking into account their firepower going forward in particular and with a large crowd behind them, backing the hosts to triumph should be narrowly favoured.
