What will RB Leipzig's starting line-up be against Man City?

The last time RB Leipzig hosted Man City in the UEFA Champions League, the German side came out on top and would dearly love to repeat that feat this time round. However, as opposed to a group stage fixture, this match takes place in the round of 16 and the stakes couldn't be higher for the home team.
The return to fitness of star man Christopher Nkunku has come at just the right time for Leipzig and the big question on everyone's mind is whether head coach Marco Rose will throw the Frenchman in for his first start since suffering that knee injury just before the World Cup. Nkunku made his first appearance back on the field from the bench this past weekend, setting up Leipzig's second goal in a 0-3 win away at Wolfsburg.
If Nkunku was to start against Man City, the player most likely to make way would be Emil Forsberg, who has been an ever present in recent weeks. However, the Swedish international scored at the weekend and Rose will no doubt find it very difficult to leave either him or fellow attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai out of the starting line-up.
In regards to forward options, both Andre Silva and Timo Werner are regular starters for Leipzig, although the latter has been deployed on the left side of a 4-2-3-1 formation by Rose a number of times, as well as in a more conventional two-man forward partnership alongside Silva.
After starting from the bench against Wolfsburg last time out, it would be no surprise to see Konrad Laimer come back into the starting line-up in central midfield ahead of Amadou Haidara, partnering Xaver Schlager. Janis Blaswich will remain in goal with first-choice keeper Peter Gulacsi not in RB Leipzig's registered UEFA Champions League squad due to a long-term injury. The other key decision Marco Rose needs to make is at left-back with both David Raum and Marcel Halstenberg pushing for a starting spot.
