Since the appointment of Jose Luis Mendilibar during the March international break, Sevilla have been extremely impressive as they lift themselves from the relegation battle to being in the hunt for a top seven finish as well as potential UEFA Europa Conference League qualification.

Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting comfortably inside the top six and the UEFA Europa League spots in La Liga. However, with four games of the season to go, they are unlikely to be able to challenge Real Sociedad in the top four as they sit seven points behind the Basque club ahead of the 35th match day.
The Andalusians come into this on the back of an impressive 3-1 win at home to UEFA Europa Conference League hopefuls Rayo Vallecano in their most recent outing, las weekend. That has made it back-to-back victories for the hosts ahead of this weekend.
Pellegrini’s Betis have been generally entertaining in recent seasons but financial constraints and injuries have led to the squad being quite shallow and that has affected their ability to be as outgoing as they’d like. They have managed just 43 goals in their 34 games this season.
