THE PREDICTION
This could be quite an attritional affair. Espanyol come into this on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat away to Barcelona in the derby last weekend as Xavi began his managerial spell at Barca. Espanyol gained promotion with an excellent defensive record last season and just 14 goals conceded in 14 games so far this season is very strong once again.
