THE PREDICTION
Arminia Bielefeld come into this on the back of a surprise 2-0 win away to Eintracht Frankfurt a fortnight ago, prior to the international break. That does now mean they are unbeaten in their last five matches with just one defeat in their last seven. That run of form has the hosts sitting outside of the bottom three ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. They come up against a Borussia Monchengladbach side that lost key man Denis Zakaria to Juventus on transfer deadline day with the replacement they had lined up, Angelo Fulgini from Angers, also failing to get the deal over the line. Gladbach have been poor since the end of last season when it was announced that Marco Rose would be going to Borussia Dortmund and Adi Hutter has struggled since joining in the summer. There are only five teams to have conceded fewer goals than Arminia and given the lack of cohesion and form of the visitors, a low-scoring encounter seems likely.
