THE PREDICTION
It has been a dramatic week for Werder Bremen and not in a good way. The departure of head coach Markus Anfang alongside assistant Florian Junge amid accusations of forging Covid-19 vaccination documents has left Werder looking for a new boss and to make matters worse, interim head coach Danijel Zenkovic has tested positive for Covid-19 and won’t be in the dugout for Werder’s trip to Holstein Kiel. It’s hard to believe that this will not have had an effect on the Werder Bremen players, whose preparations for this encounter will no doubt have suffered as a result. Holstein with home advantage in their favour, are fighting for every point possible with them currently inside the bottom three and may well be able to capitalise on the turbulence within the visiting camp, so backing them to pick up at least a point if not all three via the double chance market is worth serious consideration.
