THE TEAM NEWS

WEST HAM

David Moyes confirmed that goalkeeper Alphonse Areola will be unavailable for this week's derby against Tottenham after being forced off against Newcastle with a groin injury on Saturday.

Edson Alvarez will serve the second of his two-match suspension, whilst Nayef Ageurd returned to training on Monday after also missing the clash with Newcastle.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Coufal, Mavropanos, Zouma, Emerson; Ward-Prowse, Soucek; Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus; Antonio

UNAVAILABLE: Areola (Injured), Alvarez (Suspended)

QUESTIONABLE: Ageurd (Injured)

TOTTENHAM

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that everyone that was involved in Spurs' 2-1 defeat of Luton on Saturday came through 'unscathed' so there will be 'no real change' for this week.

That means the north Londoners do, though, remain without Fraser Forster, Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon; whilst both Micky van de Ven and Richarlison could return to the starting line-up after being substitutes.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Pedro Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Maddison, Johnson; Son

UNAVAILABLE: Forster (Injured), Sessegnon (Injured), Solomon (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

We have the potential for a thrilling and feisty London derby at the London Stadium on Tuesday evening. David Moyes’ West Ham United led 3-1 mid-way through the second-half at St James’ Park against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon before eventually sinking to a 4-3 loss. Tottenham Hotspur, once again, came from behind to edge past Luton Town by two goals to one the other day with Son Heung-min scoring an 86th minute winner. Both teams will sense a major opportunity to really ignite their fan base with both teams scoring seeming a good bet for what should be quite an entertaining encounter.

TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
