THE LOWDOWN

LEICESTER

  • Leicester’s 2-0 defeat away at Liverpool this past Thursday was their fourth match in all competitions without a win and the pressure is starting to grow on Brendan Rodgers, with his side having dropped into the bottom half of the table.
  • None of Leicester’s injured players are expected to return for this match with the likes of Jonny Evans, Jamie Vardy and Wesley Fofana all still absent.

WEST HAM

  • West Ham made hard work of it against Watford last time out, but did manage to scrape a one goal victory over Roy Hodgson’s resolute Hornets as they now look to take advantage of a Leicester side in poor form.
  • Manuel Lanzini came off the bench in midweek, and David Moyes may be tempted to throw him in from the start here, whilst Angelo Ogbonna and Arthur Masuaku are both out through injury.

THE PREDICTION

Leicester’s form is unsurprisingly being seen as a worry, although the Foxes have in mitigation been plagued by injuries, which is not allowing Rodgers to field his best team. West Ham won’t care though and despite playing away from home, will see this has a huge opportunity to gain a victory. When taking into account the injuries keeping out the likes of Vardy and Evans among others, West Ham are more than capable of accruing at least a point here, if not another impressive three points, so back one of those two outcomes to occur at the King Power Stadium via the double chance market.

Tip: WEST HAM WIN/DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE
