After a run of three games without defeat in all competitions, Fulham came up short on Monday evening as they suffered a 0-2 defeat to Chelsea at Craven Cottage in a performance that manager Marco Silva described as 'flat'.
It was a quickfire double halfway through the first half that did the damage, with Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja finding the net for the visitors. Fulham failed to create anything of note to get back into the game, and were deserved losers at the end of the day.

Sheffield Utd are rooted to the bottom of the table with Paul Heckingbottom's men stills searching for their first win of the campaign, although their performance in defeat to West Ham last weekend was at least an improvement on the 0-8 loss to Newcastle a week prior.
It was always going to be a tough ask to get a result against what has been an impressive West Ham side this season, and it wasn't surprising when Jarrod Bowen put the Hammers in front after 24 minutes, before Tomas Soucek added a second 13 minutes later. The Blades showed plenty of fight in the second half, but the quality just wasn't there to threaten a comeback.

Marco Silva will hope that Fulham's rather uninspiring performance against Chelsea last Monday was just a blip, and fortunately for him, the Cottagers have been handed arguably the most favourable fixture in the division right now. Sheffield Utd are working on building their confidence back up following their bruising 0-8 defeat to Newcastle a couple of weeks ago, but that may take some time given the manner of that defeat. The Premier League is an unforgiving place, and this could easily be another defeat for the Blades. It is unlikely to be high-scoring though, as Fulham appear to be lacking genuine firepower.
