THE LOWDOWN
BRENTFORD
- Newly promoted Brentford have made an excellent start to life in the Premier League, winning on the opening night of the season 2-0 against Arsenal before drawing their following two games.
- Head coach Thomas Frank is expected to remain without defender Mads Bech Sorensen and midfielder Josh Dasilva through injury, whilst midfielder Frank Onyeka is available after his isolation period.
BRIGHTON
- Brighton will be looking to bounce back after falling to a 0-2 defeat at home to Everton last time out, their first loss of the new campaign.
- Graham Potter is known for his tendency to rotate his starting XI and is likely to do so again for this match with the likes of Joel Veltman and Enock Mwepu both candidates to be named in the starting line-up, although Potter will be waiting upon the availability of numerous players such as Jurgen Locadia and Aaron Connolly.

THE PREDICTION
Two strong teams come face-to-face here in another test of Brentford’s top flight credentials. Brighton’s last away match saw them emerge victorious over Burnley, whilst Brighton’s only Premier League home game played thus far saw them beat Arsenal. With both having proven themselves as strong sides defensively and two head coaches locking horns with a high level of tactical nous in Frank and Potter, this one could well prove short on entertainment from an attacking perspective with neither willing to sacrifice a large portion of defensive stability to chase victory here. Therefore, both sides cancelling each other and ultimately settling for a point apiece is to be favoured.
