THE LOWDOWN

BOURNEMOUTH

The pressure is really mounting on Andoni Iraola with Bournemouth the only side other than last-placed Sheffield Utd yet to record a win in the Premier League this season.

The Cherries only had themselves to blame in their defeat to Wolves last week, as after going ahead through Dominic Solanke in the first half, they conceded just after the break when Matheus Cunha found the net. A Lewis Cook red card just seven minutes later gave Wolves even more belief, and they snatched the three points late on courtesy of Sasa Kalajdzic.

BURNLEY

There is no doubt that Burnley are struggling to compete in the Premier League as their only victory to date has been against fellow promoted side Luton.

Their latest defeat came at the hands of Brentford last weekend, when Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo and Saman Ghoddos helped the Bees record a comfortable 3-0 victory over Vincent Kompany's men, who have a lot of soul searching to do.

THE TEAM NEWS

BOURNEMOUTH

Neto has picked up an injury and is likely to be absent until after the November international break, so Ionut Radu is set to make his first Premier League start in goal.

Lewis Cook is suspended after last weekend's dismissal, while Tyler Adams, Ryan Fredericks and Emiliano Marcondes are injury absentees.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Radu; Aarons, Zabarnyi, Kelly, Kerkez; Scott, Christie; Brooks, Billing, Tavernier; Solanke

UNAVAILABLE: Neto (Injured), Adams (Injured), Fredericks (Injured), Cook (Suspended), Marcondes (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE:

BURNLEY

Connor Roberts serves a one-match suspension so Kompany could turn to Vitinho at right-back, while Michael Obafemi is not yet match fit enough to make the squad despite taking part in U21 action recently.

Hjalmar Ekdal, Jordan Beyer, Manuel Benson, Jacob Bruun Larsen and Johann Berg Gudmundsson could also miss out.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Trafford; Vitinho, Al Dakhil, O'Shea, Taylor; Cullen, Berge; Tresor, Amdouni, Odobert; Foster

UNAVAILABLE: Roberts (Suspended), Obafemi (Fitness)

QUESTIONABLE: Ekdal (Injured), Beyer (Injured), Benson (Injured), Larsen (Injured), Gudmundsson (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

There is no doubt that both managers will be eyeing this fixture as one in which they need to pick up points, and given their respective positions in the table, there may even be a sense of early desperation here between two relegation rivals. The hosts at least boast a genuine goal threat in the form of Dominic Solanke, and he could be the man to make the difference in what is likely to be a tense, edgy affair.

BETTING TIP: DOMINIC SOLANKE TO SCORE ANYTIME
