THE PREDICTION

West Ham are enjoying some incredible form having won their last six matches in all competitions and know that victory here would see them leapfrog Liverpool in the Premier League table. Scoring goals have proven an issue for the defending champions, but playing away from home here against a side full of confidence could play into Liverpool’s hands and give them more space to exploit on the break. Whilst West Ham have been excellent this season, they did lose 2-1 to the Reds in the reverse fixture at Anfield, but on home territory will fancy picking up at least a point here. Regardless of the outcome in this match, when you take into account Liverpool’s injury ravaged defence, along with West Ham keeping just one clean sheet in their last six home league games, both teams to score may well prove the smart play here.
