Kamil Majchrzak’s highlight of the season was his stunning triumph at the Libema Open in June, as he beat Daniil Medvedev, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Alex de Minaur on his way to the title. However, he has lost five of his next matches since that landmark event. His North American hard court swing has seen him lose in the second-round to Taylor Fritz in Washington, before opening round losses in Montreal and Cincinnati to Gael Monfils and Christopher O’Connell respectively.

He faces Benjamin Bonzi in round one. The Frenchman last competed on the Challenger Tour in Quebec City. He won his first two matches but was then on the end of a defeat to compatriot Luca Van Assche in the last eight.
