Barnsley remain entrenched inside the relegation places with their latest defeat coming against high-flying Blackburn last Wednesday. The Tykes are now without a win in their last eight league matches and it’s very difficult to see that changing away to Nottingham Forest. At one stage of the season it was looking like Forest could rival Barnsley in the relegation battle, however the hosts are looking firmly upwards rather than downwards under Steve Cooper, although after losing at home to Huddersfield in midweek, they will need to react strongly here. With a vastly superior squad to Barnsley in terms of both ability and experience, they should accrue a comfortable three points against a visiting side at rock-bottom confidence wise.
