THE PREDICTION
It has certainly proved to be a terrible few days for Preston, following a 0-3 defeat at home to local rivals Blackburn. To make matters worse, the Lilywhites have lost both their starting full-backs to suspensions following the news of Darnell Fisher’s three match retrospective ban. Alongside other injuries, this leaves Alex Neil’s side desperately short here. Compare their struggles to their opponents Watford, who boast one of the strongest overall squads in the division and really, this match should prove to be a comfortable victory for the Hornets. Preston aren’t to be underestimated though, having won four of their six away league matches this season. Injuries and suspensions here however, may prove to be their undoing.
